was made of wood. A 2x barlow gives about 5.6 meters FL; The
spectroheliograph diaphrams in the sunlight path to prime focus at the Manning
synthesizer
West view: The black box (A) contains the difraction grating
The black tubes (B) is the collimator
The white box (C) contains the control electronics for oscillating slits and the coelostat.
